About the HARVEST Agri-Tech-Ture Capstone Competition
The Agri-Tech-Ture Capstone Competition is a strategic initiative designed to challenge and encourage innovation and collaboration among different colleges within the university education system. It requires students in agriculture, technology, architecture, engineering, and business to work together to design and build a solution for growing food. This includes utilizing greenhouses, aquaponics, and hydroponics, all powered by alternative energy solutions to sustain these production plants. Our involvement stems from our commitment to fostering education, sustainability, and interdisciplinary problem-solving.

Who can participate?
This competition is open to university students, with teams limited to a maximum of sixteen members. While our target market is Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), we welcome students of all ethnic backgrounds to participate. This diverse approach ensures a rich exchange of ideas and perspectives, leading to more innovative and inclusive solutions for sustainable food production.
